I've learned in life true strength doesn't come from succeeding, it comes from overcoming hardships.
I was born January 13, 1996 in Wellington Florida, United States. I started playing soccer at the age of 4. A few years later, I began playing football, basketball and running track. It was essentially the beginning of what has become an amazing journey. I was always very athletic growing up and that gave me an advantage over my competition. With a strong passion to succeed, my coaches gave me a weight training program to follow at age 14. That is the first time I entered the gym and I haven’t stopped since.
I saw the results quickly and decided to stick with it. My sophomore year of high school, I was starting safety on the varsity football team. My plan was to go to college on a football scholarship. I was talking to multiple schools for a scholarship and planned on playing football in college. However, sometimes life doesn’t always go as planned. In the first game of the season I tore my ACL. At that time I felt like my life was over. I spent the next year in recovery and physical therapy after surgery. In my senior year, I suffered several concussions, and unfortunately my dreams of playing football in college were shattered. I realized football was not in my future and I had to put my cleats away.
I decided I was done injuring my body and wanted to dedicate the rest of my life to keeping my body healthy. Still having a competitive instinct, I realized that I wanted to compete in something. I figured since I had already been weight training for 5 years now, I should see if I had what it takes to compete in bodybuilding as a teenager. I entered my first bodybuilding Men’s Physique competition at age 19 and won the whole show. Since then I have never looked back. I’ve now been weight training for 12 years and I’m the strongest and healthiest I’ve ever been. I’ve trained many people in person and now have decided to extend my services to online in order to assist individuals worldwide. I am a huge advocate for fitness, health, and nutrition because I know how much being healthy can change your life. I’ve learned in life true strength doesn’t come from succeeding, it comes from overcoming hardships. When you’re going through a difficult time and decide not to give up, that is true strength.
